General smoothie-tips


1. Prepare. If you are thinking about maximizing nutritional intake, it is certainly best to drink the smoothie immediately when it is made. But for convenience, you can actually prepare smoothie and store in the fridge. Then you only have to get a fresh and good drink when you feel you need to refill energy.


2. Flavored ice. Frozen ice cubes with fruit and vegetable juices, milk and tea. Use them instead of clean ice the next time you want to flavor or vitamin-boost your beverage.


3. Freeze the vegetables. It's not everyone who likes to have vegetables in the smoothie. But, it's smart to freeze the vegetables you want. For example, if you add frozen broccoli or cauliflower, you will get rid of the unwanted and strong flavors.
